- Settle into a chair
- Take a moment to notice the sounds in the room…or the silence
- While staying focused on what you hear, slowly breathe in….
- Slowly breathe out….
- Now, softly close your eyes, allowing yourself to become aware of the sounds of your own breathing…slowly inhaling, slowly exhaling
- After a moment, gently open your eyes, saying quietly to yourself “I Am Calm and Relaxed”
