  • Notice how you are sitting in this very moment.
  • Are you comfortably slouched or more upright, perhaps at a desk? Are your legs crossed or curled under you? On a chair, a couch, the bed, the floor?
  • Close your eyes and feel your body, it’s weight, and the support of the chair, (couch, bed, etc.) and feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper, relaxing all your muscles.
  • Slowly breathe in…
  • Slowly breathe out…
  • Say silently to yourself…
